Born in Hong Kong, she acquired Cantonese as her first language and is fully proficient in it.

Receiving formal education for years, she is generally proficient in Mandarin and English.

She learnt Korean and has been learning Japanese out of self-interest. 

By overhearing Thai conversations of parents and immersion of Thai environments in annual visits to Thailand, she picked up the language and is proficient in oral communication skills though stated that the "worm-like" Thai words are too hard to learn.
